Bruce Katz is  a renowned lecturer, thought-leader and the author of "The Metropolitan Revolution: How Cities and Metros are Fixing our Broken Politics and Fragile Economy".  He is also a Brookings Institute vice president and founding director of the Metropolitan Policy Program, and regularly advises national, state, regional and municipal leaders on policy reforms that advance the competitiveness of metropolitan areas.
