Trash Pickup this week 11/26/14 includes Recycling containers.
Even though this is one of 3 Holidays that Waste Management Observes our pick up on Wednesday will be normal. Waste Management observes Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Martin Luther King Day. Some areas of Charlotte that have a Thursday pickup will be delayed one day this week. Those with Friday pickups will not have their waste removed until Saturday this week. Again this will not apply to Madison Park.
All Waste including Recycling cans, trash roll out cans, all types of yard waste, and scheduled bulk can start going out on Tuesday 11/25/14. Remember anything you want removed must be out no later than 6:30 AM on pickup day 11/26/14 this week.

Make sure to prep all your yard waste properly. There are links for Curb it on this web site under links. Failure to prep yard waste properly could result in failure of removal.
Make sure to schedule all bulk for pick up by calling 311, or do it yourself at Charmeck.org. Be sure to pay attention to the pickup date provided you. Bulk is not always the next normal pickup date. Sometimes it will be a couple of weeks out.
Be sure to not place items out for pickup including yard waste out sooner than the day prior to pickup, or Tuesday of each week. Make sure to clear the street by midnight of all containers. This will keep you from hearing from Code Enforcement.
