A female with back pack and black pants came down Londonderry Road around 7 PM (about dark) 10/15/14. She turned up the drive of one home that had their front door open. Storm door shut lights on in the entrance hall. Dogs began to bark and the person left after about 5 minutes. Going on down the block, but choosing a home that has not been occupied for a decade with no auto in the driveway. CMPD had just pulled over a car in the next block down the street and had their blue lights on. The person remained at this empty house until CMPD came on back up the street. An attempt was going to made to flag down the officer, however he immediately turned on his lights and went after another car that appeared to have just ran the stop sign. This female person then came back out into the road and continued to walk on down Londonderry in the direction of Emerywood.
We had a resident at Mondays meeting that stated in the 900 block of Fairbanks a black female came inside his back fence to the back door claiming she wanted to clean spots. He told her to leave he had no rugs. He said a male black was waiting
in a truck out front. Male said she normally gets $50 for her work. He told them to leave, and they were getting no money. He called 911. Which was the correct thing to do.
The neighbors house that this person tonight approached came outside and said he and his wife did not see anyone or have anyone knock on their doors. So this might of been a case of the dog barking running the person off.
Just be alert to this activity. Call 911 to report any suspicious people.
She clearly was selecting only 1 or 2 houses out of a long block.
