Waste Management schedule is normal this week. Green week so that means put out your recycle cans on Tuesday for our normal Wednesday pickup. If you can't keep up with the schedule print the calendar under links on our home page of this web site. Remember ensure your cans are off the street by midnight pick up day. Place yard waste out on Tuesday the day prior to pick up, or no later than 6:30 AM on pick up day (which is Wednesday for us). See prep tips from Charmeck.org on our home page. All bulk must be scheduled and placed out no sooner than the day prior to your scheduled pick up. You are given a date for pick up when you schedule through 311 system. So no earlier than 24 hours prior to that pick up date.
Stay Alert for unusual activity or people in our neighborhood. Call 911 to report any crimes. (EVEN the minor incidents). It is the only way CMPD can keep up, and put proper resources on any issues in Madison Park. Our eyes are the best Defense againts criminals in our community. CMPD needs us to call in auto break-ins etc. If someone even cuts their finger breaking glass that might be the DNA that leads to an arrest. Most of these crimes happen very quickly so CMPD needs us to take preventions, and to call these crimes in to them. I had someone call me yesterday to tell me about a burglary, and mentioned that other items had been stolen from yards in that area. None of those items appeared to have been reported to CMPD. They can't protect us and put resources on issues if police are not aware of them. We can see these were not reported because the incidents are not showing on the crime mapping reports.
