Lets Band Together to Save Our Trees from Canker Worms!

Madison Park HOA is pleased to offer our Madison Park residents the opportunity to take part in this special tree-banding grant for the fall of 2014. Residents wishing to take part in this grant will be asked to pay 50% of the cost of banding each tree. All residents wishing to participate are asked to remit at once the following information, along with a check for $15 per treeUpon on approval of our grant application we will move forward with hiring SilverDuck Tree banding Services to professionally perform the work on your trees.  SilverDuck provided these services for Madison Park in 2013 as part of a Neighborhood Matching Grant program.

Note:  This program is a First come, First serve opportunity so do not delay in your response and payment.  The maximum amount of this grant is $3,000 which nets to 200 trees total at the 50/50 match.

The following pledge form must be included with your check to be eligible to participate.  Payment and pledge sheets must be received by the HOA by Friday, August 22, 2014.   This offer is open to all property owners living in Madison Park. Treebanding Grant Pledge Form - 2014

I ,                                                                     , property owner of the following address in Madison Park                                                                                                 , wish to have the following number of trees #                   banded through this City of Charlotte Neighborhood Matching Grant Project.

I am enclosing a check for the amount of $  dollars, to be cashed and used only upon approval of this Madison Park HOA / City of Charlotte Matching grant application this fall. Contracts are scheduled to sign in mid November for this project. If this grant is not approved, I understand my check for the deposit will be returned to me at once and not cashed.

Residents are responsible for showing SilverDuck Tree banding the exact trees you wish banded on your property at the time they come out to perform the work- (In person or by marking them).   I understand the HOA is not providing the service, and only helping our community obtain funds to help cover the cost of saving our trees from the Canker Worm.   SilverDuck Tree banding will do the banding process in 2 stages.  The final stage is the removal of the bands in the spring.   My $15 dollar per tree pays for both stages.  Residents are free to contract with SilverDuck Treebanding for additional work at the company’s standard rates.  Resident will contact Treebanding.com for questions regarding services.
