The board agreed to move forward with treebanding again this fall against the Canker Worm. The happened after a couple of request from Madison Park residents for us to take part. It will be done similar to last year through a contracted vendor. We will apply for a Special Treebanding Matching Grant in Sept.
Details will come on how to sign up, and our residents cost per tree next month.

The City Arborist said the City has no plans to spray from crop planes in 2015. Some of you might recall that was done a few years ago.
Our neighborhood was not even in the canker worm infestation area at the time. We had limited spraying in our area during that spray.
Banding is our only options to protect the tree canopy. There is some ground spraying options available from Treebanding.com in the spring.
