Not sure what is going on with the helicopter and patrol cars shining spot lights along Londonderry Road and the Tyvola area now. 911 said they could not say at this time what exactly was going on. Lt. Gwaltney responded he is out of town, but would let me know if he found out.
1st car came down Londonderry shining lights on houses with blue lights on around 9:30 PM. Helicopter arrived about 5 minutes later.

There was a robbery of a person on Tyvola Drive. That is what the activity is about at the moment.

As we have said before anytime the copter if flying and circling with the spots shining CMPD is looking for someone.
So be sure to play it safe and lock your doors and windows.
Call 911 if you see anyone on your property that does not belong, especially during these type situations.
