This is a unique opportunity for your residents to help their neighbors find jobs and save our landfills from growing waste. This is also a great opportunity to assist Classroom Central assist kids that are in need of classroom supplies for the upcoming school year.
Who: Charlotte Junior Chamber, Goodwill & Classroom Central
What: City-wide Electronics Recycling & Classroom Supplies Drive
Where: 20+ Goodwill retail stores and donation sites in Charlotte area
When: Saturday, August 16th 9am-5pm
Why: To support job training & keep waste out of our landfills. Also, to assist low-income kids get the school supplies for the upcoming school year.
Do you have an old computer stashed in your closet? What about an old cell phone, radio, or printer? Chances are you’re keeping them around simply because you don’t know what to do with them. Now’s your chance to rid your home of the clutter, help the environment, and help your friends and neighbors with the training they need to be successful in this tough job market.
Do you want to help low-income kids get the needed school supplies? Do you want to help give a kid the needed supplies to be successful in the classroom? Look no further you can do that by donating new school supplies such as pencil, notebooks, paper, etc.

Monitors Fax Machines Printers
Keyboards Typewriters Stereo Systems
VCRS Photocopiers Cell Phones
All proceeds from donated items will help fund Goodwill’s employment and training programs.
