MLK Holiday Collection Schedule

Solid Waste Services will not provide Curb It! collection services - garbage, recycling, yard waste and bulky waste - on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, January 20.  Collection services will operate on a one-day delay with Friday residents receiving service on Saturday, January 25.

Styrofoam Disposal

Garbage

From plates and cups to packaging and takeout containers, there are numerous items made from Styrofoam. Styrofoam is a plastic #6 and can not be recycled in the Recycle It! program. Please be sure to discard of Styrofoam in your garbage cart.

Styrofoam can also be donated for reuse at most shipping/mail companies such as UPS. Contact your nearest location for more information.

Got Bulky Waste? Schedule It!

Items such as household furnishings, appliances, mattresses, box springs, lawn equipment, and similar items too large to be placed in the rollout cart are considered bulky waste. These items must be scheduled for collection.

To schedule a bulky waste collection, click here or call 311. Items must be placed curbside no sooner than 24 hours prior to the scheduled collection. Please do not block the sidewalk.
