Solid Waste Services Suspends Services 1/7/14

Posted in: Madison Park

Due to extreme weather temperatures, the City of Charlotte Solid Waste Services has suspended yard waste, litter control and street sweeping services for Tuesday, January 7, 2014.  These actions are necessary to prevent frost bite, hypothermia and any other issues that may occur because of the extremely low temperatures.

Garbage, bulky waste and recycling collection services will be provided. Solid Waste Services will attempt to resume all services on Wednesday, January 8, dependent upon weather conditions.

For more information, visit http://curbit.charlottenc.gov or call 311 (704-336-7600).

The only thing suspended is yard waste in neighborhoods.  Trash and recycling still picked up per calendar.
