I recieved word today that our application needed no clarifications.

•Requests $10,000 and below: are reviewed on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 12:00 p.m., Old City Hall, 600 E. Trade Street, Wilmore Conference Room 106 We will notify all applicants of the decision regarding their application within three (3) business days after the review meeting.

Once, I hear back I will post and send out an alert to let those that applied to take part in our tree banding grant know the status.

The contract signing, if approved, will be on November 13th and that is when the project can begin.   Once we know if we are approved for certain we will make sure we are ready on our end with Silver Duck to get the process moving in a timely manner.

It is too late to be included in our matching grant application for treebanding this year, but you can still find out what you can do to protect your trees.

If you reach out to Silver Duck Treebanding and you are part of our matching grant they do not have any info on your trees/name/ or address from us.  We are not allowed to do anything until the contract signs.  That said I have things ready to go on our end.   They also know how many trees we included in our grant application as they had to make a bid for us on the job. .
