Another Burglary in our area. Again call 911 on all suspicious activity. Be alert so we can get this activity out of our area. Watch out for your neighbors when they are at work or not home.

A resident reported an older teal pick up today circling their block over on Longwood to CMPD this afternoon. They stated the driver was looking at each house. This is a great example of things that don't seem right that you should pass along to 911 so they can check it out. I had someone e-mail just this am asking what neighbors can do. The truck today was an older teal Ford Ranger pick-up truck that was pretty beat up.
CMPD Community Officer Katie Schwartz responded the following Thanks for sending this info! We love nosey dogs! I will make sure to have our folks keep an eye out for this vehicle. You can always call 911 when something like this happens in your neighborhood. The old saying, "If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck ..." comes to mind! So you were probably spot on that this person was probably up to "no good". |
