Madison Park

Madison Central Park will be on the City's Matching Grant tour route on September 20th.  To get the park spruced up before then, the MCP Fall Cleanup Day will be moved up to the summer!

Saturday week (September 7th) at 9:30 AM will be the cleanup day.  (Sunday the 15th will be the rain make-up day).

CMS has said that they will mow the grass and pour liquid edger on the trails, but the trails need to be mechanically edged too to make them stand out.  IF YOU HAVE A GAS-POWERED OR RECHARGEABLE EDGER, PLEASE BRING IT!!!  Other tasks will include weeding, picking up trash and debris, and pruning dead branches.  If we can get 2-3 edgers, and probably 15 people, it should only take us about 2 hours.

As you walk through the park over the next couple of weeks and see anything else that needs to be taken care of, please let me know and I'll add it to the task list.
