Mecklenburg County Youth Scholarship Golf Classic

The Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department is pleased to announce its inaugural Mecklenburg County Youth Scholarship Golf Classic.
The event will be held at Renaissance Park Golf Course on Monday, September 9, 2013 to benefit disadvantaged youth in our community. Our Youth Scholarship program is a year-round effort that enables disadvantaged youth to participate in County recreational programs at a free or reduced cost. Last year the department served 11,323 youths who participated in baseball, basketball, track and field, soccer, flag football and tennis.
Please join us for the 2013 Mecklenburg County Youth Scholarship Golf Classic to help raise $10,000. Whether you play in the tournament, become a sponsoring partner, or simply make a donation, your involvement in this memorable event will have an immediate impact.
