The summer is an important learning time for students. Children often spend time in camps and other enrichment programs. However, many of our students do not have the opportunity to participate in such learning experiences during the summer due to the expense. To assist our children in being prepared for the next school year, we host Pinewood Panthers Training Camp, two weeks of FREE fun and learning for rising 4th-6th graders. Focusing on a different sport each day, students rotate between recreational and academic activities. The first week of camp, June 17-20, sponsored by Myers Park Baptist Church, will focus on math skills, and the second week, June 24-27, sponsored by Sharon United Methodist Church, will focus on reading skills.
