Pinewood Derby - Farmers Market
For kids AND adults.
4 different types of races
1) kids races by the rules (weight of car, etc.)
2) kids races open - no rules
3) adult races by the rules
4) adult races open - no rules
I have tools (church "community" tools to share with everyone).  I have some Pinewood Derby kits for families/kids which can't afford kits.
Please let kids all over Charlotte know about our super duper track (aluminum, 49 ft, 8 lanes, with computerized finish) and software with tournament record keeping.

    Wedgewood Farmers Market News

    Chef Michael, who has been featured on WBTV, will be cooking breakfast sausage, Sweet Italian Sausage, Bratwurst, and Polish sausage from Windy Hill Farms. Adam, of Local Loaf, will provide bread and biscuits. Come send your taste buds to heaven on earth. Taste testing from 9 until noon.
    We have a new vendor who sells vegan organic granola.
    New shopping bags.
    Tomorrow is the first day we will use our new water slide.
    It’s gonna be a big day at the Wedgewood Farmers Market, 4800 Wedgewood Drive.
    You can order Windy Hill meats at http://www.windyhillfarmnc.com/ and the meats can be picked up at the Wedgewood Farmers Market or Atherton Farmers Market on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

There was some comments about lines and checkout at Market.   Response from Pat Farrell regarding some upcoming improvements.   I know others had similar comments and feelings on the checkout.  Hopefully the changes will make it run smoother and flow better inside the market tent.  

 

 

Yes, we are working on this situation a cash register will be coming within the next 10 days also we are moving the check out away from the produce itself so it'll have its own checkout area.
With credit cards our only option is on a cell phone since there is not wireless to connect. if I walk away with my phone they can't charge so we're working on that. ...looking at the cost for a mobile hotspot inside the tent.
Also working on online ordering of beef pork chicken, fish.
