Eyewitness News looked at which parts of Charlotte get the most tax dollars for construction projects. WSOC went through the most recent eight bond years, 2002-2010, and found the following:

• Council District 3: $152 million
• Council District 2: $135 million
• Council District 1: $129 million
• Council District 4: $86 million
• Council District 5: $54 million
• Council District 7: $52 million
• Council District 6: $29 million

So the two districts on the west side got the most: about $287 million. The two in south Charlotte got the least: about $81 million.
