4/13/13 Madison Central Park Spring Work Day

Posted in: Madison Park
Just a reminder of Madison Central Park spring workday. The fun begins at 9:30 AM on Saturday, April 13th, weather permitting (rain make-up day is the following week, the 20th).  Please meet at the arbor next to the parking lot.

Things that need to be done:
* Removing the dead weeds from the gravel paths
* Edging the gravel paths -- we will need at least 2 power edgers for this.
* Trimming branches above sidewalks
* Sanding and painting the old flagpole
* Miscellaneous trash pickup
* Hand regrading of the ground to divert water where the gravel path is washing out onto the bus driveway -- similar to what we did last year where the path intersects the Wedgewood sidewalk.

Please bring gloves, some hand tools (shovels, pickaxes, metal rakes, etc.) for the grading, some hand saws and/or loppers for the branch trimming, and a smile. There's not a whole lot to do, so we should be in and out in about 1 1/2 hours if we get good attendance.

I'll get some emery cloth and Krylon for the flagpole, but we'll need at least one self-supporting tall ladder.

Madison Park HOA Director Matt Magnasco is heading up this clean up effort.

Thanks Matt!
