Thought people might in Madison Park might be interested in things we have done/are doing to prepare for the Wedgewood Farmers Market.
1) Arranged a lease with Atherton Food Hub, from a proven Farmers Market, to manage Wedgewood's Farmers Market
2) Purchased a 30 by 40 tent with all the bells and whistles - sliding tracs, lighting, rated for 90 mph winds - $8,000
3) Run electricity to Farmers Market tent area
4) Run water to Farmers Market tent area
5) Upgraded parking lot for use by vendors - 3 inch crusherroll compacted over a large area - $5,000
6) Purchased 13 by 13 by 13 commercial bounce house for kids activity area - $1,200
7) Purchased professional putting green for kids activity area - $800
No neighborhood does a better job with National Night Out than Madison Park. We don't just want Madison Park to have a Farmers Market, we want Madison Park to have a great Farmers Market. So we gladly have invested $20,000 plus to get a Farmers Market up and running. We are looking forward to the Grand Opening on April 6. And, we are thrilled to be in the Madison Park neighborhood and appreciate your support of us, the Wedgewood Farmers Market, and, most importantly, local farmers.

Wedgewood Farmers Market Grand Opening - Saturday, April 6. Market Schedule, Tuesdays and Saturdays, 9 to 4 pm. Market operated by Pat Farrell of Atherton Food Hub.
Vendors - Wedgewoodians and Madison Park residents can rent space at our Market for $30. Others pay $40. We rent tables for $10. First come, first serve. Contact Mike Mattick if you want to rent space/table.
When Wedgewood Church asked the Madison Park Homeowners Association what we could do for the association you told us a Farmers Market would be great. We thank you for the idea and we appreciate your support.
