Point taken and I agree with your post entirely.  The purpose of my post was not to be argumentative just hoping that those of us without children aren't hurting the argument by mentioning property value.  Let's keep this moving!

They are Welcome to organize and use the HOA meetings, and whatever means we can provide to move it forward.  I really think it will mean much more to CMS coming from those with children doing the foot work.   I know there were several people that year at South Meck from Madison Park when they were holding the public discussions.    Unfortunately most of it was lost in the Harding / E.E. Waddle switch last minute. 

I only mention property values to counteract the ambivalence of those in the neighborhood without kids. I do not harbor any illusion that CMS would consider this.... However if they are pushing neighborhood schools which is the reason they gave for no one be ing able to opt out of pinewood due to title one status then I think we have a right to question why we are being "bussed" to Harding when there are two closer high schools..... Secondly it Is slightly suspicious when sedge field middle is surrounded by Dilwirth but that is not where the neighborhood children go for example. Or why people past the arboreteum are going to Myers park? The zones are drawn are not in the best interest of kids or CMS but certain neighborhoods
