In my opinion the best potential planting sites are single-family residential parcels without a sidewalk.  Parcels must have at least 8’ of City R/W behind the curb to ensure there’s enough room for a tree in the event a sidewalk is installed at a later date.  Also sites must meet the City’s minimum spacing from objects such as other trees, driveways, water meters, etc.   As previously mentioned requests will be inspected on a first come/first serve basis.  I’ll hold these extra trees for Madison Park residents until 12/18, after that I’ll begin surveying other areas to plant the extra trees in order to give the planting contractor adequate time to adjust their schedule.
