There will be a trash can installed in the city ROW of Madison Central Park per CDOT's permission. For months residents have asked for a trash can. CMS said NO!
This can must remain in the spot it is being installed.
Thanks to Parks and Recreation for providing us with this Trash Can. CDOT had attempted to find us one for free and were unsuccesful. Parks and Recreation stepped us and is helping us out after I asked them about a can.
Please DO NOT remove the can, or try to relocate this can.
A few Neighbors across the street on Seneca Place have agree to keep the can emptied in their personal cans on trash days. THANKS for your HELP!
What does that mean for you. The school nor the city will be removing the trash.
Please if you use the Park clean up and remove your own trash. If you must deposit trash you can use this can, but remember your neighbors are having to clean up the trash from the can. If the can is full take your trash with you.
Do not pile trash on top or around the can.
