Just learned our next Matching Grant was approved. We should start executing this grant project in the very near future. This is the grant for the vehicle ID's for our residents to help CMPD / Membership notification to all homes in Madison Park.

Greetings! On behalf of the City of Charlotte, Neighborhood & Business Services, we would like to congratulate the following neighborhoods who have received funding through our Neighborhood Matching Grants Program to complete projects in their communities:
Neighborhood Matching Grants Program The Neighborhood Matching Grants Program has been helping Charlotte citizens improve their neighborhoods since 1993. The program awards funds to eligible neighborhood-based organizations for projects that will make neighborhoods better places to live, work, play, and shop. The program helps to strengthen neighborhood organizations, while encouraging increased neighborhood participation and partnerships with the city and others.
The next application deadline for the program is February 15, 2013. Organizations interested in applying for a Neighborhood Matching Grant must send a representative to a Neighborhood Matching Grant Pre-Application Workshop. The next four workshops are as follows:
All workshops will be held at Old City Hall, 600 East Trade Street, Charlotte, NC 28202. For questions or more information, contact Arthdale Brown at 704-336-4594. |
