Each October we open for 3 weeks the nomination period for our HOA BOARD. Directors serve 2 years terms. They can do two back to back terms before being required by our bylaws to take 1 year off. Officers serve 1 year terms and can be elected / appointed over and over without the required break. Presidents coming off of their terms automatically go to director for a 2 year term.
Directors terms are staggered so that we always have consistency on our board. The following have 1 year left on their terms.

Both President Doss and Cheryl Furr Treasurer wish to be replaced as Officers. President Doss has been on our board for 10 years straight. He has served as Secretary, President, Director, and back as President. The Means are both wonderful Officers and work very hard for our community. Either of them President Doss thinks would make a fantastic President.
If more residents would pay their dues it would take the pressure and stress of having to work so hard on finding sponsors each year. President Doss spends a great deal of time looking for sponsors that actually cover some of your missing dues. Why? So that we can have nice events, apply for grants, and make our neighborhood a bit more special.
If more people would step up and pay their dues we could do so much more, and have even better events, including improving our current NNO. We could even have money to pay for Movies in the neighborhood.. (see the minutes from 10/8/12), where several people have recently asked up about doing movies at Madison Central Park. Great Idea, but it cost money to do it.
All Dues are going to 2013 now. If you have not paid dues ever, have not paid in recent years, are on our e-mail list yet never paid a dime, called or e-mailed asking us to help with a problem, then please consider paying this year. Whomever the President is in 2013 will Appreciate it! Your cash support helps all the board do so much more without the stress - as we work to improve the quality of life for everyone living in Madison Park. How do we do that? Through grants, and neighborhood events that makes our neighborhood more special.
