Storm Drain Work on Wedgewood

Posted in: Madison Park

Does anyone have any information/scope of work regardign the Storm Drain project near the intersection of Seneca and Wedgewood Dr. section between Seneca and Tyvola?

Thanks!

I received this info from Scott Hudson.  Storm Water Division.  He said the pipes were damaged along that stretch of Wedgewood Drive.  The only thing they could do is tear out the system and put in new pipes.    Said letters did not go out as they should of to alert you guys living in the zone.   Project should take another month to complete.  Sidewalks will go back in back of curb, but will meet current ADA requirements.   They are adding some new drains in that area to handle street run off during rains.    It will go only a couple of homes South of Keystone Court on Wedgewood Drive.    Work is complete down near Seneca Place.

He said he can be reached at 7043362219 if you have futher questions.

Also there will be another project down at Seneca Place to take care of another issue with drains and the pipes in the future.    No date of the start of that one.   This will be more on Seneca.

Good question since we received no notice of this project to the HOA.

are they going to be coming up Wedgewood Drive any further?  Or is the current work zone the extent of the the work?

Thanks for the prompt reply and great info.

Two house South of Keystone Court heading toward Tyvola.   Apparently the pipes were so damaged this was the only option to replace.   So give it 4 or 5 more weeks and it will be back to normal along your stretch.

There was no date for the work yet that will take place along Seneca at Wedgewood.  So prepare for future digging.

Mabye this will help with the occasional flooding down at Seneca Place @ Wedgewood.
