The Charlotte Mecklenburg Planning Department staff is notifying citizens
monthly about upcoming text amendments to the Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances.
On May 14, 2012, and on June 18, 2012, City Council will hold a public hearing on
the following text amendments:

2012-66 |
Text amendment to add a “bicycle-sharing service” and “bicycle-sharing station” as new use with prescribed conditions in all zoning districts. |

Text amendment to the PED zoning district regulations regarding streetscape improvements when changing from one commercial use to another. Also modify the active use provisions for structured parking facilities. |

Text amendment to add vocational schools as an allowed use by right in the BD district. |

The public hearing will be held at 6:00 pm in the Council Chambers,
Government Center, 600 E. Fourth Street, Charlotte.
