Madison Park

Thanks to the volunteers Today

Posted in: Madison Park

Around 25 people showed up to work on Madison Central Park today.   Special Thanks to Sharon United Methodist Church for sending in some of their members to help.

The park looks much better.

FYI....CMS is on a 14 day grass cutting schedule.  So expect the grass to get a little tall over the summer.   This is done to save money by CMS.

Parents with infants might have noticed that one of the swings for infants is missing.   Reason is a 4th grade child was playing on it.  She slipped getting stuck in the swing. The Fire Department had to cut the swing off.  Child was not hurt and CMS will replace the damaged swing.

Principal Sexton also mentioned today that she did not want people walking dogs behind the school.   Please avoid that area.

Again please have your dogs on leashes and clean up after your pets at the park.  Failure to clean up and follow the rules will result in CMS putting up NO DOGS ALLOWED SIGNS.  Please follow the rules so that we can (humans and pets) all enjoy the space.

If there is a regular pattern of activity of someone that does not seem to wish to follow the rules call animal contral and give them details such as time of this activity.   You can even provide address if known, and digital cell phone photos.  That way Animal Control can address the problem even if it is after the fact.
