Madison Park

Please be aware that all dogs need to be on leash at Madison Central Park.   Please also clean up after you pets.   We realize most of you are doing the right thing, including being considerate of others using our park, your efforts are appreciated.   A few of you are allowing your pets to run around and not cleaning up after you pets.   Failure to follow the rules will result in dogs being banned by CMS on the property.  This park sits on School Property. 

Dogs off leashes are illegal in Charlotte.   This is not a dog park.  Dogs on leashes are currently Welcome to our park with their owners or walkers.

Please do the right thing so we can Welcome both residents and their pets on leashes. 

I agree with the need to clean up after your dog. As a volunteer for third grade at the school, I have ventured on to the playground during their organized outdoor playtime with these 8 year olds ... and the very last thing they want to do is watch where they step. We are sharing the Park with the School, let's all be good neighbors about it and set the right example for these students.
