Madison Central Park is not a dog park. If you wish to bring your dog to the park area please ensure the dog(s) are on a leash. This is not a leash free zone! I have had two people just this week from different areas of Madison Park complain to me that people were allowing their dogs to roam off leash. One was concerned for their childs safety, and the other was cocerned about her dog which was on a leash. Telling someone your dog is friendly is not comforting to someone that is afraid of dogs. Most dogs are friendly-- but when a strange dog off leash approaches a dog on leash it could make for an unpleasant incident,.
Please be respectiful of your neighbors and keep your dogs on a leash. Also remember to clean up after your dogs.
