I haven't seen any discussion about the recent break-ins on Lamont Dr., Wedgewood Dr., and Mockingbird Ln.

There were 2 on January 12, 1 on January 7, and 1 on January 6, all within a 1/2 mile of each other.

Does anyone have details?

Read the minutes posted for Feb. 13 under newsletters on this site.  We also e-mailed info on two of these around the time they happened.  If you are not on the e-mail list join by sending an e-mail to madisonparkhoa@hotmail.com.    We don't share of sell the list.

That way you will get any info CMPD sends us to distribute to our list.

Also the post on 1/31 Prevent the next crime was tips that came from CMPD because of the issues of these recent crimes.  The Feb. 13 post B&E Serial Number sheet is another tool CMPD discussed Monday Night so if your items are stolen if you have records and they are pawned you get them back.  That sheet is uploaded on the home page if you wish to print it out and use it.

I was also in discussions with our community officer late yesterday evening about something we might try in the not so distant future to try and help them with this issue.  Details will come in in the future.

I posted this on the facebook page as well, but our home on Wedgewood/Lamont was also broken into this past Friday 2/10/2012. During the day, through a locked window and then out a sliding glass door. They were able to get electronics, jewelry, and cash. In my humble opinion, these guys are pros. No finger prints, minimal damage to the window, and ability to go unnoticed in the middle of the day. If anyone in the area of Wedgewood and Lamont saw ANYTHING out of the ordinary this past Friday 2/10, please let me know so that I can report to the investigator.
