Madison Park

Thanks to Everyone that made it to the Social

Posted in: Madison Park

The social was very nice. Sorry the alert call made it out rather late.  The officer that handles the request was not working over the weekend and ended up leaving work early Friday.   Anyway we had a nice turnout and the Gunter Family did a nice job with the set up.

Thanks to Ellen Stenstroum for taking the left over meat  purchased by the HOA to be used by a local food charity.

Also Thanks to all of you that paid your dues last night at the Social.

We would like to collect as many dues as possible by the 1st of Jan. 2012 so that we can better budget our 2012 calendar.   National Night Out takes many months of planning and that event comes directly from business sponsors and a mix of your dues.  Also any Grants we work on the dues are calculated into the projects.   More of your dues goes toward Wedgewood as a donation for space.

Pay your dues on line today or send your check to Madison Park HOA @ PO BOX 242432,  Charlotte, NC 28224

Write on your check the size of T shirt you would like and we will get on to you if you live in our borders.

If you pay online using links on this site home page you can note in the note section and will get you a t shirt.

Your support of the HOA helps us do more for the community.

Thnks Marty. I took the ham and turkey biscuits up to Charlotte's Urban Ministry were they were quickly eaten I am sure. They make over 800 sandwiches every day, and appreciate the offering.  If anyone is ever interesting in doing this as an indivudual or a group, you can review the information on their website at http://www.urbanministrycenter.org/support-us/operation-sandwich.

Not only do they feed homeless men, they also feed women and children there. It is the first line where homeless people go to in Charlotte. They cannot live there, can only eat for a short small lunch meal, bathe, and get medical attention. Many of you know that Room In the Inn picks up there.

Thank you for the opportunity to deliver this wanted food.

Glad it went to good use.  Thanks again for taking that task on for us.
