Calling all Madison Park Neighbors!
|
Join us on Saturday, November 5th for the FALL WORK EVENT at Madison Central Park from 9AM-12 noon. Get involved and help to bring more change and improvements to the space by:
* Weeding/Pruning/Gathering debris near the Wedgewood bus entrance
* Mulching select areas
* Planting perennials
* Installing concrete disc-golf tee markers
* Meeting neighbors & building neighborhood pride!
The fun begins at 9AM at the red tent near the playground where you'll sign-in and choose a task. Your time contributes directly to the community hours required by the $25,000 matching grant we received from the City of Charlotte, so don't forget to sign-in! Bring the whole family--kids are encouraged to volunteer their time for this effort as well.
There will be coffee and donuts in the morning & a Hotdog picnic starting at noon--both sponsored by the Madison Park HOA. Throughout the event Coca-Cola will quench our thirst with complimentary Coke Zeros and water.
