Is there any Greenway system that connects Madison Park. If not, where is the closest access point.

The nearest section when complete (currently way behind schedule) is down behind Queens Sport Complex at Marion Diehl on Tyvola Road.
Queens Sports Complex is under contract to have all 3 phases of their complex completed by 2015. Queens plans to have little mini greenways connect to the larger greenway behind their complex. Last I heard one of those mini greenways will be possibly connected to park land at the back of Keystone Court. Also others would be down in Swelyn Farms off Seneca Place.
Currently the Greenway has been built in broken sections. You can connect down behind Park Road Shopping Center and go back toward town.
I was also told years ago if we wanted it built sooner we would have to help raise money. |
