Tree Canopy and Investment Strategy Public Meetings

a Dilworth StreetThe city is asking for public comments about their new goals for the city's tree canopy.  If you can, please attend!  They need to hear from everyone who cares about the city's streettrees how important they are to the health and welfare of our community.
 
One of Charlotte’s greatest assets is its tree canopy.  In an ongoing effort to preserve this asset, City staff is looking for your input.  Two public meetings have been scheduled for Wednesday, May 11th to gather comments and feedback from the community to help City Council set a tree canopy goal and develop a Tree Canopy Investment Strategy.  The Tree Canopy Investment Strategy will guide public investment in trees and serve as an informative tool for potential partners interested in maintaining and expanding a healthy tree canopy.   Please mark your calendar to participate in one of the following meetings:
