Madison Park

Keep Charlotte Beautiful notified Lisa Charde today that our application was the winner of their 2011 Adopt A City Neighborhood Competition.  This is exciting news for the neighborhood and Pinewood Elementary.   The rose garden will be given a face-lift in the near future on the site of the old school and the future Madison Central Park at Pinewood Elementary.   There will be no cost to the neighborhood outside of some volunteer hours of us working with Keep Charlotte Beautiful and their landscape architect.  Look for more news on this project soon in our meeting minutes and on our web site on how you can take part.
