STOP FOR THE SCHOOL BUS!!

Posted in: Madison Park

I have lived in Madison Park since 1993...I love the area, the big beautiful trees, the natural wildlife.  It really is a great neighborhood to live in!!!  I plan on staying here for a very long time.  I do have one very serious complaint, however....I have two school age children, both of which ride the bus.  I am very lucky, their stop is right in front of our house, on a neighborhood street, not on busy Woodlawn Rd. or Park Rd.  I have been amazed at the number of OUR NEIGHBORS that do not STOP for a school bus that has it's stopsign out and FLASHING LIGHTS!!  IT IS THE LAW!! Are we REALLY in such a big HURRY to get to our jobs in the morning that we would WILLINGLY put our precious childrens lives in danger?  For those of you that do stop, my children and I Thank You...PLEASE, talk with your neighbors, let's put a stop to this!!....For those of you who DO NOT STOP, YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES!!  These busses are carrying precious cargo...WHERE IS THE LOVE!!

                                          LET OUR CHILDREN LIVE!!

I have advised my children to assume that every car WILL NOT STOP...they cannot walk across the street unless that car has come to a complete stop...because of the few that are WHAT, Above the law?  What's really sad is, I know these people live in the neighborhood because I recognize their cars parked in the driveways, I see them walking their dogs.  I feel Helpless...won't you help me spread the word...and if you are one of the guilty....make a promise to yourself that you will NEVER do it again.

                                              LIFE IS TOO PRECIOUS

There is not one thing on this planet more precious than ALL of our children!!  DO THE RIGHT THING

                                     STOP FOR THE SCHOOL BUS!!

THANK YOU!!
