> The Garden Conservancy Open Days Charlotte Garden Tour  will be September
25 - 26, 2010.  It will be showcasing 5 unique, private Charlotte gardens.
>  Tour hours are Saturday, September 25th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and
Sunday, September 26th from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
>
>  Admission to each private garden is $5, or $25 for all six gardens.
Tickets can be purchased at Wing Haven (Bird Sanctuary and The Elizabeth
Lawrence Garden) and at any one of the private gardens.

One of the gardens on tour is at a home on Faircrest Drive in Madison Park.

Three area public gardens will also be open to visitors on these days: the Charlotte Botanical Gardens at the University of NC in Charlotte, The Mauldin Gardens at the Armstrong Mauldin House in Rock Hill, SC and The Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, 6900 North New Hope Rd, Belmont NC.

The house on Faircrest is no longer going to be part of the tour.
