There is a home on Seneca Place, I believe it's 822 Seneca; it's had a lot of trash out front for over a week now, and was still there when I drove by this afternoon.  Anyone know what we can do to get this removed?  Who to contact?  Thanks!

Just call this in to 311 or go to Charmeck.org and enter it online.

Fastest thing to do is put it in as bulky item.  You will need to know what it is because they will ask when you call.  Furniture, appliances and so forth.  Reason different trucks pick up different materials.

Other option is call it in as code issue.  Junk.  This is slower..Inspector must come out and then send letter and owner gets up to 10 days to clean it up.

If you do it as bulky you can most likely get it scheduled next Wednesday for pick up.

You might find out it has been corrected.

kyoung@ci.charlotte.nc.us  Kirk Young is the inspector that will inspect if you go that route.  He is great and probably will check it out if you shoot him an e-mail.

You will need the exact address if you call it in to 311.

Also they may ask for your name if you call it in.  You are not required to provide it if you do not wish. 

Appears this propety is already being checked out.   Per Codes.  Someone had already entered it in the Emerald (311) system.

Hey, I went by this house on Tuesday and took a picture. I checked Emerald and someone did put a request in for some things. I will drive by today and check on it. I can send a letter to the owner if it is still there.  Thank you for the email.
