CSX Railroad Crossing Closures: June 29, 2010 - July 7, 2010

  • Due to railroad track maintenance, CSX will be closing railroad crossings in the Charlotte Metro Region  beginning 6/29/2010.
  • Closures will last 4-6 hours. Due to uncertainty in work schedules, advanced warnings of these closures will be through the media.
  • Detours will be signed
  • Closures will occur on:
    • Tuesday, June 29, 2010:
      • Brevard Street
      • Davidson Street
      • Bascom Street
    • Wednesday, June 30, 2010:
      • McAlway Road
      • Rama Road
    • Monday, July 5, 2010:
      • Rozzelles Ferry Road
      • Reno Avenue
      • North Church Street
    • Wednesday, July 7, 2010
      • Louise Avenue
      • Central Avenue
  • Traffic may also have to be stopped for several minutes at a time while work occurs at the following locations:
    • Idaho Drive between Brookshire Boulevard and Rozzelles Ferry Road
    • Eastbound Brookshire Boulevard Ramp to Beatties Ford Road
    • Hawthorne Lane near Central Avenue
