Hi all,
Yesterday afternoon a woman was robbed at the end of Tamworth Drive on Londonderry as she walked home from either the bank or Food Lion. According to the police and eyewitness account, two men in a silver car (possibly a silver Accord or something like that) jumped out of their car and stole the woman's purse. The woman screamed and her husband ran out of the house. The two in the car shot at him. Luckily he was not injured.
These two people are targeting people coming from either the bank or nearby shopping and following them home. We just found out that 15 minutes prior to this incident, someone else was robbed on the other side of Archdale. The police said they are targeting minorities. Please be aware and share this information with your neighbors. This has been going on for a couple weeks. Thank you.
