The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department would like to invite you to an International Outreach meeting to familiarize the community with the patrol divisions and personnel of the Central Division, Westover Division, and Steele Creek Division. The primary topic for this meeting will be an open forum in which citizens can exchange ideas and express concerns regarding crime, crime prevention, and other areas of concern that the police can assist with. Please extend this invitation to neighbors, church congregations, and businesses in your community.

• Time: Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 7:00 PM
• Location: Smith Language Academy, 1600 Tyvola Rd

The meeting will be conducted in three phases:

• Introduction of each patrol division's personnel and overview of the geographical boundaries.
• Form into two groups, one English speaking and one Spanish speaking, to discuss concerns and ideas.
• Re-group together as one and share the issues presented.

We are hopeful that members from all our communities will attend and assist their communities and the police department in forming open discussion and dialog regarding issues that concern us all.  The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is always seeking ways to increase communication and better serve its citizens. We hope to see you there.

            Muy atentamente estamos invitándoles a una reunión para presentarles a las personas que están encargadas de las siguientes divisiones de la Policia Charlotte-Mecklenburg. Las divisiones son Central, Steele Creek, y Westover. Al mismo tiempo pedimos su colaboración para que haga extensiva esta invitación a su comunidad, congregaciones y otras personas que vivan en el área. El propósito de dicha reunión es para conocerse y tener un foro sobre temas de interés relacionados a su calida de vida dentro de sus comunidades.

            Esta invitación es dirigida a todas las razas de la comunidad. Como viviendo todos juntos en la comunidad, es necesario tener los puntos de vista de todos.

La reunión se va realizar en tres tandas.

1. La presentación de los encargados de cada división.

2. Serán formados dos grupos: uno en ingles y uno en español. 

3. Reunir los dos grupos para hacer un resumen acerca de los temas tratados por grupo
