It's pretty much the standard on housing cases.   The inspector gives notice and then has 30 days to be allowed inside to inspect.  Then the person can go to housing court and ask for an extension for another 30 days from the Judge.   If vacant an unlocked the inspection will happen faster.   Then as long as the person is making progress the process can drag out up to 1 year.  

 

The only time the process really moves faster is when there is tentants in a rental home. 

 

I will update when Kirk gets back if he has any new news on the location.

For right now this home was filed for foreclosure and I have not gotten any new information about who bought it. (bank or company)

 

I had it boarded up in January because we had a lot of vandalism on this home in November and December 2009.

 

I am continuing to work on finding an owner, but if anyone has any questions, please feel free to contact me.

 

I will be sending out paperwork on this property for the housing case.
