As far as I know......They didn't close the walks on Tyvola when they milled that block last week.   The work is planned for night time.

Vivian Coleman is over the sidewalk program for the City of Charlotte DOT.

I inquired if she knew the answer to your question today.  Vivian she said she did not know.

Chip Gallup with CDOT has asked John Edmonds NCDOT if the sidewalks would close during resurfacing.   When  they respond I will post the anwer.  

Chip said on 3/31/10 

"I wouldn’t think they would as part of normal resurfacing but I guess anything is possible."

Thanks again Marty, was concerned they might be blocked off.
