Madison Park

Grover Road now has a sidewalk on the South Side of it.  Anyone knows that walks to the Tyvola Light Rail station that there was no sidewalk on either side of the road.  This sidewalk was actually completed ahead of the Feb. 2010 deadline. 

The north side has a date of completion for August 2010.

Do be careful if you walk to the Tyvola station or across South Blvd to shop.   The cross walk signal is missing in front of the Old Rite Aid Across from Tyvola Mall on South Blvd.   It was barely safe to cross with the signal......I would be even more careful without one at all.   I am going to make sure CDOT is aware and see if they have a time line for replacement.

Chip Gallup with CDOT was not aware this sign was missing.  He is checking into it.  The entire pole and illuminated countdown sign is missing.  It appears the telephone pole next to it was recently replaced due most likely to a  traffic accident.

CDOT reports

..... we are in the process of repairing this one. With the cold weather we have had we are having problems with the concrete setting up. As soon as we get the right temps we will have this one repaired.

Crosswalk signal is back up now!
