Vote in the Primary Election on September 15th

Vote Early Until Saturday, September 12 at 1:00 PM

Early voting ends on Saturday, September 12 at 1:00 PM.

Until then, you can vote at the

Hal Marshall Annex - 618 North College Street, First Floor

  • September 8 – September 11 (Weekdays) 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM

  • September 12 (Saturday) 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

On Tuesday, September 15th, vote at your regular polling place.

If you are a registered Democrat or unaffiliated voter, you can vote in the Democratic Primary election.

 

I really appreciate your vote for one of four City Council at Large seats!

 

 Campaign volunteers needed!

If you can help our campaign in anyway, working at the polls on election day, placing yard signs, making calls, please contact campaignmanager@susanburgess.org.

Please host a yard sign.

I am in great need of yards for my yard signs.  If you can host one, please email campaignmanager@susanburgess.org

All signs must be 11 feet from the curb, out of the city right of way. Thanks!

There will be 2 information meetings held in late September. The light rail project is an 11 mile extension of the South Corridor. It is scheduled to begin construction in 2012. To learn more about these meetings, call 704-336-RIDE or visit www.ridetransit.org

Community University has announced classes for fall and winter

Each month will have a special theme and September is Homeownership. This free series will be held at the Freedom Regional Library, 1230 Alleghany Street, 6:30-8:30 PM.

  • Wednesday, September 16 – ABCs of Foreclosure
  • Tuesday, September 22 – "How To" Home Repair
  • Wednesday, September 30 – Neighborhood Networking
