CDOT TO STUDY Traffic Seacroft

Posted in: Madison Park
CDOT has once again agreed to Study volume of traffic on Seacroft in order to decide if Seacroft South of Tyvola can have Speed Humps. This will be the 5th study since the Speed Humps program began. I feel part of the problem with the counts in the past is that the counter was placed near Tyvola Road on Seacroft. The heavist volume of traffic flows between Chedworth and Fairbanks. Vehicles turn on Fairbanks to exit safely at the Wedgewood Drive traffic light on Tyvola Road. Seacroft has no traffic calming features South of Tyvola.
Study taken place now 4/13/05

I hope we hit the numbers for those of you that would like to see some traffic calming measures taken on your Road.
NO STOPS OR HUMPS

Chip Gallup CDOT reported we did not have enough traffic still on Seacroft for any speed calming measures. The count came in at 710 for a 24 hour period. Request were made for children at play signs hoping that might calm traffic some.
