Seasonal Colors

Posted in: Foothills
Colorful flowers of the season sure look nice at the entrances to our development but are very costly.

Who likes them? Are they worth the money? Would anyone like to participate in the seasonal change out of the flowers as a community project?

Spring Colors

I think a seasonal color change is a nice investment in the community. I would be happy to volunteer to assist in changing the flowers at each gate.

Usually, after the winter is over, the plants look pretty drab, a fresh change would be good. Another change in the fall would be nice too.

Spring Planting Party

I've heard some discussion about having a "spring colors" planting party. Basically the Association would buy the plants and coordinate some kind of "pot luck" in the park after the work is done. I think we could save about half the price of haveing the colors replaced by the landscaping company. It might be a fun social event too!

Love to help

Les, please let me know a date and we will put it in the newsletter and organize some of the volunteers that have contacted me. I would love to get my hands dirty!!!
