LAS PALOMAS HOA
2004 ANNUAL MEETING
FEBRUARY 18, 2004

The annual meeting of the Las Palomas HOA was held at the Mustang Library at 7 pm. The meeting was called to order by the President, Steve Schreibman. While the ballots were being counted, Steve gave a state of the HOA address.

OLD BUSINESS
Steve thanked the Las Palomas staff for a job well done. He went over the accomplishments of the board for the last two years (see attached) Basic updates of facilities are finished. We are now in the maintenance mode.

A reminder of the voluntary program for homeowners-----Any homeowner wishing to convert a front or side yard to xeriscape can call Bob Wallace. Las Palomas will remove the grass, put in the proper irrigation and do the planting?—the homeowner buys the supplies and plants.

NEW BUSINESS
In the next couple of years, Las Palomas will need to redo the roads. This will cost between $70,000-80,000. We need to start building up our reserves so we will have the money when the time comes. Thus, the board made a decision to start putting $2,500/month into the reserves fund for this project.

The North Tennis Court?—what to do with it? We will send out a survey to see what residents want done with it.

TREASURER?’S REPORT
Bob Catalana stated that the HOA is solvent, and in good shape. (See attached)

HOMEOWNERS FORUM
1. Some residents would like to see the North Tennis Court put back in operation. The board will get an estimate and report back to homeowners.
2. The underwater spotlight in the adult pool has some wires coming through the cracks. This will be checked out and proper action taken if necessary.
3. Trashcans are being put out too early?—a notice will be sent to all residents regarding this matter with proper times.
4. Some people are leaving their garage doors open all day long and sometimes at night. Letters will be sent out to those who are habitual offenders.
5. Some residents are not picking up after their dogs. Please be considerate of others?—pick up immediately.
6. If someone has self-trimmed debris or trash (non-garbage) they need hauled away, call Bob Wallace and he will have Javier come by in the Las Palomas truck and pick it up.
7. All the dead organic matter from the last frost will be removed by the end of March.
8. Some homeowners would like to have a list of Las Palomas properties sold and their selling price.
