MPWNA- Judd is approximately the line where flood irrigation stops.

Doug McQueen is administering a street tree program for the downtown
neighborhoods whereby volunteers will plant a 15 gallon size, usually
about 6 to 8 feet tall, and about one inch diameter tree.

Most are ashes and at maturity they will be large shade trees
that turns color in the fall.  but requests for other kinds of trees will be considered.                      This is entirely free for one tree on any lot (additional trees can be purchased at                 wholesale prices of $50 - $100, depending on the species), which will be planted near the street
in the front yard of irrigated lots.

Every-other-week watering to augment irrigation is required during  the first summer;                after that, they don't need any unusual care.  There are several example clusters                       that have 10-12 year old trees that can be seen for examples.  If you are interested, please call
Doug McQueen at 602-793-4967. If no answer leave a message with your name, phone and address
