Lake Eola Heights Historic Neighborhood Association

It's a nice touch to have the Lake Eola Heights gateway plaques and the roundabouts decorated for the holidays, especially since the association's budget is running low. However, it is rather disappointing to see that vandals try and steal the holiday spirit. Perhaps they are in a worse place this year and one can only hope they needed it more to brighten their holiday. They may have gotten the material stuff but not the spirit. A big "thanks" to the neighbor volunteers who put them out and take them in.

It is ashame...I caught a group of kids right before Christmas who were attempting to knock one of the balls off the lamp post near my house...apparently they just went to another corner and did it. The neighborhood gets so much foot traffic that stuff like this is bound to happen I guess...
